Our Story

We’re a family whose paths have led us from different corners of the world -all the way from the Nordics to Australia - to now Kallio. We’ve travelled far and wide, and now we’re bringing those experiences home. Flemari20 is our way of combining everything we love — good food, unique style, warm hospitality, and a space where people feel welcome.

In the café we bake korvapuusti, sourdough bread that’s used to make delicious toasties, and open sandwiches — always with curiosity and care, sometimes with a playful twist inspired by flavours we’ve loved along our journey. Kukkaverstas is a floral studio which shares our space, adds creativity, beauty and colour to our wonderful space.

More than anything, Flemari20 is about people. It’s a place for conversations, community, and gatherings — whether over a quick coffee, a long lunch, or a creative workshop. However you find us, you’re part of our story too.

Cafe Flemari20

A Café for Conversations, Courses, Community & Bloody Good Coffee

At Cafe Flemari20 we bake unique korvapuusti, sourdough bread, and a changing mix of toasties and open sandwiches. On Saturdays we host a cosy brunch with homemade muesli, preserves, and fresh bakes. Drop in for coffee, stay for lunch, or join us for a gathering.

Flower Workshops

Our space shares its home with Kukkaverstas, a stunning floral studio run by Minna. While we bake, she creates workshops and floral designs. Together, we bring delicious food, beautiful flowers, and exciting creativity into one space.

Space Rental

First and foremost Flemari20 is also a place to bring people together. Whether you’re planning a team workshop, family celebrations, product launch, or creative course, our cosy space in the heart of Kallio is ready to host your event.

Events

Flemari20 is a place for ideas, creativity, and conversation. People are our jam. Alongside the smell of fresh baking, you’ll often find us hosting music and coffee events, art exhibitions, and other social events. These gatherings are relaxed and open, inviting people to share, listen, and connect.

We also welcome community-led groups — from philosophical discussions and book circles to men’s groups and neighbourhood meet-ups. Flemari20 transforms into a space where voices can be heard, stories can be exchanged, and friendships and communities can grow.
