Events
At Flemari20, our café is also a place for ideas, creativity, and conversation. Alongside the smell of fresh baking, you’ll often find us hosting coffee and music evenings, art showcases, and writing circles. These gatherings are relaxed and open, inviting people to share, listen, and connect.
We also welcome community-led groups — from philosophical discussions and book circles to men’s groups and neighbourhood meet-ups. The café transforms into a space where voices can be heard, stories can be exchanged, and friendships can grow.
This page also includes our availability calendar, so you can see what’s coming up and when the space is free. If you’d like to join one of our events — or suggest a new one — we’d love to hear from you. Flemari20 is here for both baking and belonging.

ART & COFFEE - Heidi Heinonen
I paint larger, mostly plant-themed paintings, in which the main part is with plenty of colors and positive emotions. Style plays with somewhere between abstract and figurative, leaving room to the viewer's own imagination.
I have gained tools for painting through my current design studies in addition to graphic design and clothing studies, but I still feel that I have only learned to paint by painting. Spending a lot of time, my own recognizable handprint has also been created by doing.

MUSIC & COFFEE - BFP (Bergå Folk Project)
These are the elements that make up BFP, before known as Bergå Folk Project, a group formed by Finnish professional folk musicians. On their self released debut album, 'Bergå Folk Project' (2022), they perform a suite of folksongs, originally gathered together and arranged by the Italian contemporary composer Luciano Berio. In this album BFP seeks out to bring the folk songs that inspired Berio back to their roots with new, innovative arrangements. The group’s international repertoire sung in eight languages and played with twelve different instruments presents the audience a variety of world- and folk music styles along with powerful performances and awe-inspiring artistry. The debut album has been collecting great reviews in Finland and worldwide, and it got rewarded as the best ethno album of the year in Finnish Grammies Emmagaala.
BFP consists of Aili Järvelä, Iida Savolainen, Esko Grundström and Topi Korhonen.
